Exterior Detailing in Dallas
Dallas gives paint a hard time — 230-plus days of sun, 100°F summers, hard water and highway fallout off I-635 and the Tollway. Our exterior detail removes what washing can’t reach, brings the depth back, and puts a protective layer on top of it.

What An Exterior Detail Covers
Every exterior detail starts with a decontamination wash and ends with protection on the surface. Here’s each step, and why it’s there.
01 — Multi-Stage Hand Wash
Pre-rinse to carry loose grit off the panels, foam cannon with pH-neutral soap to lift the rest, then soft microfiber mitts and the two-bucket method. The grit never goes back onto your paint — that's the whole point.
02 — Clay Bar Decontamination (Add-on)
Run your hand over the hood after a wash. If it feels gritty, that's bonded contamination — rail dust, industrial fallout, overspray, tree sap — that soap physically cannot remove. Clay lifts it out and leaves the paint glass-smooth.
03 — Wheels, Tires & Wheel Wells
Wheels are cleaned first with their own tools and a dedicated pH-balanced cleaner, so brake dust never crosses onto paint. Wells cleaned out, sidewalls scrubbed properly and dressed with a satin finish — not the greasy look.
04 — Wax Or Sealant Protection
Carnauba wax for warmth and depth, or a synthetic sealant for durability — we pick based on paint condition and how long you want it to last. A clean car with nothing on it is an unprotected car, and Dallas sun finds it fast.
05 — Trim, Chrome & Metal
Plastic trim and moldings revived with UV protectant so they stop going chalky grey. Chrome, exhaust tips and polished metal brought back with metal polish — two grades, depending on whether it's maintenance or real oxidation.
06 — Glass, Jambs & Finishing
All exterior glass cleaned streak-free, including the edges people miss when the window is up. Door jambs wiped, emblems and badge recesses detailed, mirrors and window seals finished. Hand dried with clean microfiber.

Exterior Detailing FAQ
The questions Dallas drivers ask us most before booking an exterior detail.
An automatic wash runs spinning brushes that have already touched hundreds of dirty cars that day, often with recycled water. That’s where swirl marks come from — thousands of micro-scratches that show up as haze in direct sunlight.
We hand wash with clean microfiber, fresh water at every stage, separate tools for wheels, and we finish with protection on the paint. It takes hours instead of minutes, and the paint stays in good condition over years instead of slowly dulling.
Spray wax on the Express Wash lasts a few weeks. Hand-applied wax on the Exterior Detail gives roughly six to eight weeks. A machine-applied synthetic sealant runs four to six months. Dallas heat and UV shorten all of these compared with milder climates — if you want protection measured in years rather than months, that’s a ceramic coating.
Run your hand over the hood after a wash. If it feels gritty rather than glassy, yes. Clay removes bonded contamination that soap can’t touch, and it’s required prep before paint correction or ceramic coating. If the paint is already smooth, we’ll tell you to save the $75.
No, and anyone who says otherwise is selling you a filler product that washes off in two weeks. Wax can slightly mask fine marring but it doesn’t remove anything. Permanently removing swirls and scratches means machine polishing — that’s our paint correction service, starting at $349.
Yes. We bring our own water and power and we work out of about one and a half parking spaces, so most complexes across North Dallas have no issue with it. Send us the gate code and your parking spot when you book. If your building has a rule against it, a nearby street or garage level usually works just as well.
Constantly — they’re a big share of what we see in Dallas. Pricing is in the tier cards above and we quote by actual size, so a three-row Suburban and a Tahoe are priced as what they are. Lifted trucks and dually setups may add a little time; mention it when booking and we’ll confirm the number.
